proper strechs and clothing

Its important to be in the right clothing and to do the right stretching  . So lets start with what to wear I  wear a leotard with  boody shorts and a high pony tail  or bun but you can wear anything tight .   
So now for stretching . Its important to warm up your back, wrist, legs, and arms .So to warm up your arms you can do wind mills. and for you wrist you can do a back bend like in the pic  that will warm up your legs too!

Doing  a hand stand is fun and easy !What you want to do is start with your hands up with one leg out.(pretend you have money in your ears and you don't want to let  it out) Then kick you back leg up then your other leg (point your toes and if you are just starting I would do it up against a wall ) remember don't kick to hard or you will just fall over . Have fun and work hard  !

power round off

for your power round off you will jump into your round off instead of walking into it so this is how you do it
you jump as far and as high as you can !Then stick one foot out and that's your prep .
Then you make a t  with  our body with our arms out and one foot out 
Then reach for the ground and and snap your legs around (like a cartwheel but with both legs together )

first you spread your legs apart this will  help you go back easer .
Then you look at your hands and go back 
After that you shift your weight forward this will help you kick over
Then  you jump and kick over

5 Tips for the Perfect Backhandspring


Back handsprings (commonly known as backflips)are very impressive and fun. Here are some tips on how to perfect it.
 1. You don't want to jump too high, but you don't want to jump too low. It has to be in the middle.

 2. Keep your hands straight and strong. This helps you get a good landing so you don't hit your head. (that would really hurt!)

 3. Keep your legs straight, and don't bend them. This looks better and helps you go higher.

4. Make sure you throw your legs up fast and hard. This gives you a rebound to do other tricks (going into triple flips, etc.)

5. Keep your hands straight up vertically, not bent in horizontally. This helps you not to bend your arms. Have fun on your backhandsprings!
